Cursv.ai respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). Users are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any assignment or other content they upload.

Filing a takedown notice
A valid notice must include substantially the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed;
- identification of the material claimed to be infringing and enough information for us to locate it;
- your contact information (address, phone, email);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the owner.
Note: knowingly making a material misrepresentation may make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent above, including your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake; your contact information; and your consent to jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., a district in which we may be found).
Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
